Hello everyone. I'm doing my top ten of marvel characters, this one is number ten, Hawkeye.
hawkeye (Clint Barton) also known as Goliath and Ronin is a fictional character that appears in comics published by marvel. The character first appeared in 'tales of suspense' 57 (September 1964) and was created by Stan Lee and Don Heck. The character joined the avengers in 'avengers' volume 1 16 (may 1965) and has been a prominent member ever since. Hawkeye was introduced as a reluctant villain in 'tale of suspense' 57 (September 1964). After two more appearances in tales of 'suspense' 60 and 64 (December 1964 and April 1965). He became a perennial member of the team and has made numerous appearances in all four volumes (vol 1 (1963-1996) vol 2 (1997) (vol 3 (1999-2004) vol 4 (2010-present) including specials and annuals), as well as in the ultimates. Hawkeye was also part of the avengers in 'secret wars' (1-12) (1984- 1985).
