Another great post Binksy. I have posted a comment at my post for you in reply to yours.
I haven't been to Disneyland in California but have been very lucky to go to Disneyworld in Florida twice. We had a great time and met loads of characters. I never knew about Disney characters when I was really small to be honest, because I am quite a lot older than you. But of course when I had my son I took an interest in all things Disney and he has lots of Disney movies. I never went to the pictures (cinema) as we called it when I was young to watch films and they didn't have them on tv way back then when we had black and white tv!!!! The first film I went to see with my parents and sister was Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday, which incidentally they are showing on ITV3 tomorrow evening.
I am going to the Cliff and The Shadows concert next Sunday evening at the NIA, Cliff was my first pop idol way back in the 1960's. Yes, I am that old.
Anyway, back to Mickey Mouse, if you ever have the chance to go to Disneyworld then do go as you will have a fantastic time, I wish we could afford to go again. If you don't get the chance to go until you are an adult it doesn't matter, you do not have to be a child to go, lots of adults go without children.
Love your pics of the A-team and Batman and Robin. I watched them first time around.
Loved Charlie's Angels back then too.
I see they are doing a new series of Knight Rider - that was something else I used to watch - oh and Starsky and Hutch was another of my favourites.
Bonanza is an old black and white western series I watched as a child, I used to love Michael Landon who played Little Joe Cartwright, he was left-handed like me too.
